Tiel, March 27 2018 – The Railtechniek van Herwijnen group is pleased to announce that it has acquired the French company Valdo Manutention.
Valdo Manutention is a company that, just like the Railtechniek van Herwijnen group, is specialized in conveyor systems. Since 1987, Valdo has been designing, producing and supplying various systems in and outside France. Valdo Manutention employs 16 people, has a large workshop and various assembly teams. There will be no change, either for the customers of Valdo or Railtechniek van Herwijnen. They will be served by the familiar staff, with the communication lines being short and personal as usual.
Railtechniek van Herwijnen B.V. was founded in 1983. With multiple offices in the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Moldova, Railtechniek has grown to become one of the market leaders in the field of internal transport systems. With the acquisition of Valdo Manutention, the Railtechniek van Herwijnen group consists of 12 offices. Railtechniek supplies various industries. In this regard Valdo's references within the food, household appliances and ceramic industries are a major extension.
